Thursday - February 10

Today started out with a chilly 44 degrees but warmed up to a delightful 75 with lots of sunshine.    I left at 7:50 for the beach (1-hour trip - 23 miles).   Parked at Claire and Kathy's condo parking lot, met them and we walked a short jaunt to The Island Pancake House where we met Dana (she and Mark worked together years ago).     Dana and Herb live in AZ now but spend a few months on Fort Myers Beach.   So good to see her (not last year cause of covid).    We had a fun girl visit and breakfast was really excellent same as last time when we were with Jim, Lydia, Doris and Rich.

Said good bye to Dana (darn...forgot a picture) and Kathy gave me a tour of their rental for a month - very nice.    Then we 3 walked to Goodz for some shopping (I was picking up some t-shirts for Mark's sister Marilyn's friend).    We stopped at MoJoe for coffee and sat outside in the sunshine.    Back to their condo, said good bye till next week and I was on my way.   I stopped at Trader Joe's on the way home.   Love that store.

So while I was galivantin' on the beach, Mark took Big Red to Arcadia to officially welcome his sister Joan and Joe to Florida.    They arrived last night and are settled in to a nice new park.    They had a good visit and we'll be together next week when more family come to visit.    He forgot picture, too.....

Once again, sooo frustrated with the USPS......I mailed Liam's birthday card on January 31st for his February 4th birthday - he still does not have it!     Arghhhh!   UGH!!!!

Cute sign in our park
