Tuesday - February 15

Mark had a very early  (7 AM) yearly checkup but had to be there at 6:40 with nurse practitioner (Mary Parks) at Dr. McCarty's office.    He was there for over 2 hours.   On home and I made breakfast sandwiches.    We are looking forward to a quiet day of "nothing" special planned except to welcome Mark and Jim's sister, Marilyn to Fort Myers where we'll entertain her till Sunday.    She'll be happy to get out of the Illinois cold, wind and snow.

We ran a few errands late morning and enjoyed this low-key day!    Jim and Lydia picked Marilyn up at the Fort Myers airport around 1ish... we went over to welcome her (she'll stay 3 nights with them and 2 with us).    She's happy to be here.

Welcome Marilyn

Our boys are having a great time

Mark and I walked - windy and cool this afternoon but that is going to change big time starting tomorrow.......we're to be in the 80's for next several days!!!   We'll welcome the sunshine and warm (hot) temps!

Marilyn walked over to visit and plan our week ahead......she always has a list of what she would like to do.    She is very low maintenance and happy and content to just stay put, play games, walk, read, etc.!

Tomorrow more siblings are coming to visit......life is good here at Cypress Trail!  😀
