Sunday - August 6

Rained during the night and ended up a cloudy, humid Sunday.    Mark was off to get a new battery for my car - geez, it's not even 3 years old, but all these new electronic features run it down much quicker!   😕   Mark had thought he and Philip could install this week, but then reading that it would require special tools that we don't have.....decided to let them install.  He ran a few other errands, picked me up for 10:30 Mass and we were off to Immaculate Conception.   Mark and I took up the gifts at offertory.   Father Jonathan gave his usual excellent homily,

Stopped at Bassett's on the way home for a few groceries.    After lunch, I drove Catrina to the pump out dock, came back and rinsed all the bugs off and then waited for Annette and kiddos to arrive.

Today is my Aunt Dee's 95th birthday!    We called and chatted with her daughter, Barb (my cousin).   Aunt Dee is doing great and we'll check in later this week as she was napping!

Annette, Luke and Maeve arrived at 6:15 and we met them at Jolly Rogers with hugs and then enjoyed some yummy perch and walleye.    Sooo good to see them and they were happy to get out of the car after their almost 6-hour drive (+ back-up at toll booth).

Back to the boat  - Luke kept saying "I'm sooo happy to be back on Catrina"!    Yes....and Catrina and crew are happy to have you back!   Luke gave Maeve the tour.   Annette was last on Catrina when we were in Florida back in 2012?
