Thursday - August 10

Our NC kiddos drove all the way home - 11+ hours arriving at 12:15 AM.

Brad (here at Superior) came at 8:45 to tighten the bands on Catrina's port engine to hopefully fix the slight leak.   He was here less than 10 minutes and was able to tighten a quarter turn.   We'll hope that does the trick.   Brad is much younger than we are and although not an easy "get-to" job (practically standing on your head), we really appreciate his agility!

We had some rain overnight but today was really nice with plenty of sunshine and temps in the low 80's.  Enjoyed a leisurely-nice-to-be-lazy day after all the go go go (which we thoroughly enjoyed)!    Mark took me for my haircut with Debbie at 3 and ran some errands.   On home for more chillin'.

A lovely evening with nice breeze and the sun shimmering off the water.   We walked in the marina and then sat on a bench overlooking the Portage River.

Donna (neighbor) who is on her boat this week with her sisters, invited me to come sit outside and she'll bring the wine.    We had such a good visit - she's so much fun....and one of her sisters Bobbi joined us.    Nice end to this day with this pretty sunset
