Friday - September 15

Beautiful sunny start to the day, but not so for Mark who was in heavy fog in Georgetown, KY with Daisy and Toad so a delayed start for his travels.

Good night's sleep after Theresa and my big trip yesterday and woke up to read about latest terrorist attack in London this morning.    Michael has been there past few days but now flying home......yikes, nowhere safe these days.     So much horror, hatred and violence going on in our country and around the world!

Theresa and I went to the Coffee House in Uptown Normal for our "fix" and then I waited with her for the train to Chicago which was 1/2 hour late.

Coffee in hand and off to Uptown Station

I went back to Anne's, washed the sheets, made the beds and then later, went for groceries and met Mark in Wal Mart's parking lot (around 3:30ish.)    Transferred the groceries to Daisy and off to Kamp Komfort.

Good to be back here - our little "home away from home" - so pretty out in the country and a beautiful day/evening.

Having temps in the 80's for at least the next 10 days.....summer still hangin' around!

These dear friends had dinner at Busy Corner and then stopped at Kamp Komfort tonight
and brought along pie - coconut cream!   Oh my, sooo yummy!
