Friday - September 8

Beautiful day in NC.....Mark helped with several projects including assemble Luke's new bunk beds and an Adirondack chair.   I worked on Daisy putting clothes away and bunch of our stuff.    Luke and Maeve were my helpers!    Daisy is parked outside Philip and Annette's new home!    This is our first time to see it since they moved in - beautiful!

Annette went on a big grocery run stocking up on provisions.     So much watching and listening to the news of just which path Irma is going to take.    Still some uncertainty, but right now, moving to the west!    We've been in touch with several friends - some have left; some are staying put.    We pray for their safety whatever their personal choice.

Philip and Annette were in touch with friends offering their home as a refuge.   Tomorrow, a family of 5 will be arriving.

Michael came to the lake this afternoon (Brooke is home with the kids).    Ryan helped with various projects, too.    Ryan is staying at Michael's.    They came to Philip's at 5:30 on the pontoon and picked us up for a dinner ride to Bear Creek on a beautiful Friday evening.
