Monday - October 9

HUGE difference in today's weather and as predicted, we are having occasional snow showers, strong winds out of the west (snow is coming down sideways) and it's COLD with wind chill at 18.

We just hunkered down and surprised at how many RV's left in this weather?    Duh....

There was a light dusting on the grass and Daisy's steps were icy, but fortunately no accumulation.

Our first "snow" of the season

The laundry is with the bathrooms/showers next door to Daisy, so we put on coats, ear muffs and gloves and did 3 loads.    So convenient to go back and forth (practically "blew" in and out)!

Did some indoor cleaning on Daisy, read our books, used our laptops, played 3 games of 2-handed euchre and occasionally enjoyed a little bit of sunshine.

One week ago today we woke up to the horrific Las Vegas massacre and today it's the wildfires in Napa, Sonoma, Santa Rosa, etc., all areas we've been to.    Heavy loss of  homes and businesses.
So sad to hear about this beautiful part of Northern California and wine country.

Going to Santa Fe tomorrow...1st time visit.
