Saturday - August 10

Cloudy and cool morning (got down in the 50's overnight).   We had breakfast, did our computer stuff, Mark went for a walk and I did 3 loads of laundry - very conveniently located near Catrina.

Finished the photo book this afternoon - yeah!!!   Went for a walk and such a difference in the temperature.   Thinking of all the folks in the south and their sweltering 3 digit temps.    Up here, we wore jackets.

We met fellow PDQ owners on "Moonstruck" from St. Pete, FL....Diane and JP are here in Phoenix heading towards Lake Ontario.    We've been with them at PDQ cruise and rendezvous past few years in Stuart, FL.     We went to "Moonstruck" for docktails and had a great visit!

BLT's and sweet corn for supper.    We are surprised that in our travels with Big Red, we haven't come across a single produce stand in the country selling these goodies and other yummy seasonal veggies and fruits.    So, we picked up some at Wegman's....really good, but corn still didn't compare to what we're used to in the Midwest.

The Village of Phoenix has these gorgeous "dinner-plate" size hibiscus growing near the boat.
