Tuesday - August 6

Sunny start to the day but some rain this afternoon and more coming tonight and tomorrow.    We drove to Baldwinsville (B'ville as the locals call it) and first stop was one of our favorite coffee shops "Shambella and visit with Mike, the owner.    Oops....big disappointment as Mike is on vacation and closed till tomorrow!    Bummer, but onto The Canal Street Cafe and Bistro, another favorite for breakfast and it was very good.

I was hoping to browse at 2 favorites - The Purple Painted Lady and Two Sisters, but both were closed.   Sometimes, these little towns just do their own thing when it comes to hours of operation.   I got a pedicure from Jane at Lovely Nails and it was indeed a "lovely" experience.

We then drove onto Liverpool, a smaller town by about 5,000 people than B'ville, but had heard it was a neat place.    We found "Freedom Espresso" (another cute name for coffee shop) and enjoyed iced coffee/latte and walked down to the marina.    Some big boats in this small town and a nice walking/biking path.    Didn't see much else here, though.

Came on back to Catrina and hunkered down all afternoon with my pics working on the photo book.    Mark took a nap and we had a quiet afternoon.   No docktails tonight as everything is wet and folks are inside their boats.
