Saturday - June 13

Beautiful Saturday.......Mark and I were off to town and 1st stop was a drive-by visitation for our friend, Ruth's brother, John at St. Pat's.    John was only 59 and been fighting cancer for 4 years.    His 4 sisters greeted outside the church as a procession of cars passed by.     Ruth is one of my Monday Night Friends.

Then we returned our rental car back to Enterprise, stopped at Grove Street Bakery for some yummy sugar cookies for the boys, one final trip to storage, Farm 'n Fleet and finally picked up our Wal-Mart grocery order.    Home to KK, put groceries away and shortly after, Anne, boys and Gibson arrived.

Liam drove Grandpa into Goodfield to pick up lunch and pie at Busy Corner.    We enjoyed our lunch on picnic table under a nice shade tree on Flo's site.    Gibson lay in the grass and napped.

Said our good byes (and hugs) around 2:30 and the Campbell Clan were off.    The boys are going with 3 friends and a Grandpa tent camping tonight at Dawson Lake.

Bye bye till late August

Jody, another Monday Night Friend is the gourmet chef and baker in our group of 11.    During the lockdown and everyone staying home, Jody went to baking up a storm delivering homemade bread or cinnamon rolls to each of the gals.    Jody had promised ours would be coming when we were back in Bloomington.    She took a loaf of cinnamon bread to Anne this morning to bring to us.....delicious!    Shared some with Anne and boys.

Mark hooked Big Red to Flo and did some final things to prepare for our leaving tomorrow.....

Late afternoon we put on our new shoes and went for a walk!    We did 2.6 miles.

New sign installed today!

We packed in a lotta stuff, with visits, good eating and hanging out at Anne's this past week.    Great to see friends (social distance) and catch up.    We are really looking forward to the next 2+ months traveling in the Pacific Northwest!     Tomorrow morning we'll be on our way...
