Wednesday - June 10

A nice start to the day but then the winds picked up and another crazy windy one but sunny.    I went into town around 8:15, picked up bagels from Panera and had a nice almost 2.5 hour visit and breakfast with Sharon.    Great to catch up and enjoy her lovely sunporch (from a distance).

Then it was time for lunch, so back to Panera (so easy, simple and yummy) for lunch-to-go and off to Donna Rae's and more good chatter.    Last saw her in December....lots to yak about and of course, our soup/salads were delish.    And we kept our distance.

Off to the Campbell's.    Connor and I made Country Apple Dumplings (recipe from Brooke) that are sooo awesome.    We all had "Dessert before Dinner" cause "life is too short"!!!    And later, Mark came into town and picked up Mandarin Garden and sooo good and another box checked of where we like to eat (take-out).    IL still has no inside dining.

It rained a little this afternoon and some sprinkles on our way back to KK.   And it really cooled off and the winds are still blowing good.
