Thursday - June 18

Mixture of clouds and sun with some rain along the way, but fortunately nothing heavy and didn't last too long.    We hooked Flo to Big Red and left the Lakehead Boat Basin around 8:20.    Drove a few blocks to parking lot near Caribou Coffee and I went in with mask and got some coffees and an apple fritter to share and then we were off.    Stopped in Fosston, MN for lunch on Flo along a residential street

Today's destination was East Grand Forks, MN (across the Red River from sister city, Grand Forks, ND.)    We are in the Red River State Recreation Area and most of the sites are pull-thru (horseshoe shape).    Very pretty area with 113 sites and the Greenway Trail just a short jaunt away.

We arrived around 2ish, set up, opened Flo's windows and enjoyed a wonderful cross breeze, sunny skies and mid 70's.   Mark got the bikes off Flo's back rack and for the 1st time since mid March in Fort Myers, we went biking.   Whoaaaa....biking uses different muscles than walking.   Felt like old fogies till we got going, but will take a bit to work up to some level of stamina.     The Greenway area along the Red River is a 22-mile paved path - awesome;  we did an itty bitty part of it today.    There are 2 other trails (1 is a 2.4 mile paved loop and the other is a grassy, 2-mile loop.    More to check out tomorrow (walking or biking).

Late afternoon we stopped at The Blue Moose which is just outside the campground for adult beverages, cowboy nachos and walleye fingers - all delicious.   Sat on large deck and did the social distancing thing.

Blue Moose - excellent!

Tonight's pose - smile sweetie!!!
Taking this modeling (posing) much too seriously!  Ha!

Planning to stay here 3 nights!
