Monday - March 8

A nippy walk started the day with strong winds....but with the sunshine it eventually warmed up to the low 70's.    Did a load of laundry and then we walked later on.

Celebrating today - 2 weeks for me since my 2nd vaccine!!!

We read and played virtual euchre this afternoon and then around 3:30 Charlotte called that they were close to River Forest Yachting Center with their boat.    We left with Mark driving their car and me in mine for the just under 1 hour trip.    Said our good byes.....and hope to be together again this fall?    And with our friends John and Beth who will be coming back to FM in a few weeks.

Mark thought we should check out the LaBelle Brewing Co. which has Buckingham Farms as their restaurant.   Bummer.....closed on Mondays.    So we went to the Log Cabin BBQ where we ate with Doug and Charlotte a few years ago on St. Patrick's Day.    It was excellent - we had ribs, shrimp, sweet potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw, garlic toast and every single bite was wonderful!!!!

Mark walked "in the dark" for a bit to get in his steps.

Maeve was enjoying the trampoline - but whoaaa...check out that static or
some sort of shock to make her hair stick straight out!!!
