Saturday - March 6

Cloudy and cool - rain is a'comin'.    We walked, met some new neighbors (Joe and Barb) farmers from near Effingham, IL.    Made ham/egg/cheese breakfast sandwiches on English muffins.

The rain started around noon.....we left at 12:30 for my haircut appointment.    Stopped at the Island Java Co for coffee and pastries.    Mark took me to Jewel (Salon by Design) for much-needed haircut and he went onto Target to pick up a few things.    It was raining much harder when I finished with Jewel.    We then drove to Doc Ford's and surprised by the amount of  traffic going to the beach?    Had an excellent lunch and on home.    When we got back to Cypress Trail as the rain was pounding down, we stopped at the clubhouse to pick up some pastalaya which residents (Rob and Deb) from Louisiana were preparing for the park.    Good New Orleans Cajun food!     We had never had this (pasta, sausage, chicken, beef....or combination of).   Most everyone was getting it to go instead of dining in the ballroom.   We were stuffed from our big lunch but wanted to try this - so had a few bites when we got back on Flo - delicious!!!   Also came with an order of corn bread.  But rest will have to wait till another time!  🐷🐷
