Tuesday - March 16

Another day of wonderful Florida weather....I got a manicure this morning and then home to finish packing.    Around 12:30 we decided to go to Cracker Barrel for lunch.    Wanted to sit outside under the porch, but not open today cause the mowers would be there?    Never did see any mowers?

We've done several carry outs from Cracker Barrel but not eaten inside for a very LONG time.    Today was not a good experience.    We ordered our meals (meatloaf for Mark and chicken tenders for me).   The gal brought the meatloaf but had chicken fried chicken......long story short, she said she had punched in the wrong button and would get my tenders..............Mark was long done eating and I still didn't have mine.    She kept apologizing - "the kitchen is having trouble today?"     The couple beside us from PA were really upset at the S L O W service and said this is sure not what we expect when we come here.    Finally got my meal (40 minutes later) and took most of it home.    Heard a guy complaining to the cashier that his pancakes were not good!    So, not sure what was going on today???     Cracker Barrel is now serving wine, beer and mimosas!

Stopped for a few things at Publix and on home.    Visited with Jim and Lydia late afternoon - she'll be watering my flowers while we're gone.    Sure appreciate that!

Joe and Barb (neighbors from IL) came tonight to see our she shed as they'll be finishing theres next year.    Had a nice visit on the patio.    They are heading back to IL on Saturday.

So tomorrow we are going on a 4-hour paddleboat lunch/cruise on the Caloosahatchee River and celebrate St. Patrick's Day with corned beef and cabbage, music, dancing, etc.    And after  the boat docks at 3 PM, we are heading outta here enroute to NC.

HAPPY   SAINT  PADDY'S   DAY
