Wednesday - March 3

We were up earlier today and out walking.    Then a light breakfast and off to 9:00 Mass at St. Vincent de Paul about 5 miles away.    This is Lydia's church and our 2nd time to attend.   Nice crowd for a weekday Mass but plenty of room to spread out.    Stopped at CVS and on home.

A very brief rain shower came thru at 11 and then Allie and Owen arrived from North Port and what a fun afternoon with these dear friends.   We had not been together since March 13, 2020 when we went to the rodeo in Arcadia.    We enjoyed the Ma Petite Creperie food truck (great ham/Swiss on homemade croissants) and Allie and Owen shared a dessert crepe (Josephine).    Allie and I also bought some produce from Dusty and Allie got some sausage patties from the meat truck.  Sat on the patio visiting the afternoon away and hopefully, can get together again in April.

Mark and I walked late afternoon - gosh, it feels so good after all the heat and humidity from past several days.

Happy 95th "Heavenly" Birthday to Mark's Mom.....she is sooo missed!

11 years ago today - 3/3/2010 we were involved in the car/pedestrian accident in St. Pete, FL.    My shoulder is doing well after that initial surgery and then most recent one in December.    Still have some twinges, but since Dr. said 12-18 months till it's totally healed, no biggie!   Just very grateful!

Mark has been watching old Perry Mason movies (black and white) from 1957.   Wow....that's going way back!
