Hello from Lamont, FL (pop - 170) 23 miles east of Tallahassee. We are right along I-10 and the traffic is flying by just like on I-74 at Kamp Komfort. Home tonight is at "A Stone's Throw RV Park" and the nice lady checking us in gave Mark 2 cold bottles of water! It was 83 when we arrived.
Good day of travel leaving at 8 and arriving just after 3 (we lost an hour) plus stops for fuel, lunch on Flo at a rest stop, etc. Everything was very GREEN today and saw the first palm tree in Cottondale, FL.
Along I-10, we saw several power company trucks heading west. Must've been somewhere in FL fixing the downed lines from Ian and now heading home?
Went for a stroll around the park - not a very big one but busy with lots of folks rolling in this afternoon/evening.
Tomorrow is day 4 of our travels.....heading to Lakeland and visiting my brother Ron and Vicki.
