Saturday - October 1

Turned on the TV (I never watch it) but we've been so addicted to what's going on in FL and I've watched more in the past 3 days than in a year's time!    NOT kidding!

It's October and another gorgeous day!    We met our niece Lisa, hubby John and baby Landon for breakfast at Busy Corner.    They came from the Peoria area and we had such a nice visit with meeting Landon, the highlight.

My sweet great nephew who is 3 months old and so happy!

Tomorrow, Landon will be baptized and John and Lisa will celebrate their 1st anniversary.
(Landon was a "honeymoon" baby)

As we were walking out of Busy Corner we noticed this neat flag on the wall and description beside it:

WOW......beautifully done!

On our way home, we heard about the arrival of our great niece born yesterday to nephew Tommy and Samm.

Lily Marie
welcomed by big sisters, Riley 4 and Olivia 2.

We came home and had a quiet afternoon and then went for a long walk up the road - farmers are going great guns and you can see harvested fields for miles and miles.

Michael and Brady are in Iowa City (Drew flew in from Dallas) for the Iowa vs Michigan game, but unfortunately, the Hawkeyes lost 27-14.    Ryan is working in France and Philip in Fort Worth.    Anne and Auntie (Mark's sister) are checking out some wineries in the area.

It's Homecoming this weekend and CCHS won big last night - 42-20.   Liam and Connor are going to the dance tonight with friends!

Mark walked to the office to get some ice and I had a nice visit with Linda who just arrived this afternoon from WI.    She and Tom will be here for a month and have a daughter in Bloomington with 4 grandchildren and also a son in NC.    They've been coming to KK for many years as they are originally from Oskkosh, WI and spend the winters in Mt. Dora, FL.
