Sunday - October 2

Sunny Sunday and the day started with 10:00 Mass at Holy Trinity.    Anne and Auntie Karen were with us.    Liam and Connor were off to Greenview, IL for practice with their golf team preparing for the sectionals tomorrow.    Afterwards we went to Uptown Normal and Coffee Hound - it's "parents weekend" at ISU and since this is in the campus area, they had NO food!    So we got our coffees and went next door to Jimmy Johns and shared a sandwich, chips and cookies.    Sat outside and had a good visit.   Said our good byes to the girls and then got gas, a few groceries at Schnucks and on home.    It was almost 2 when we got home.

Auntie and Anne

I finished packing for my trip tomorrow to Branson and later we went for a long walk on the country road.    Each time we've been walking the road, we've tried going a little further and today we made the goal of going all the way to US 150 (3.2 miles round trip).    What a great day for a walk!

Ryan called from Paris!    Sounded like he was in the same room as us - awesome!!!

Tonight almost all siblings were present (not Nancy and Tom H) and the majority of the conversation was the Florida devastation.    And we congratulated Janet on her new granddaughter, Lily.

So tomorrow Claire and I are driving to Springfield, MO to pick up Kathy who is flying in from Dallas and we have some girl fun planned thru Thursday.

Have a great week.
