Saturday - October 8

We were off to town before 8.   It was 32 when we woke up!!!    But today was much more pleasant with lots of sunshine and not the crazy wind.    We stopped at McDonalds for a quick breakfast and then met Anne and away we went watching Liam tee off at 9:30.   We watched Liam for a few rounds and then found Connor.    And then back to Liam.

Mark and I left at noon for Rob Dob's and lunch with our friends Paul and Marlys - we last saw them in March on Sanibel.    Sooo much to catch up on (health, the FL devastation, families, travels, etc.)    It was a great lunch and 3-hour visit.    Probably won't see them again till next May as no Florida for them this winter.....Arizona instead.

Paul and Marlys
They gave us this very nice "Flo" ornament which they found in Santa Fe this summer!
We love it and how thoughtful!
Leaving Rob Dob's 3 hours later...

Stopped at Kroger to pick up a Rx and on home.    We are tired!!!

So proud of the boys and their great golf season.    The final tally is that out of 112 golfers in the class 1A state tournament, Liam finished 38 and Connor, 41.   During this tournament, the boys have gotten some great coverage and support from their school (CCHS) and the Pantagraph.    And how fortunate that this has taken place here in Bloomington both years the boys have played and Mark and I were here to cheer them on!

Liam is contemplating...
Connor tees off on #10

And now onto the hockey season which starts tomorrow...

Beautiful fall colors at Prairie Vista today - here are few pics I took

Claire and I had such a pretty drive home Thursday with the trees ranging from very green to pretty yellow, red and orange thru the rolling Missouri terrain.

Two full days on the course following 2 boys in all directions + walking Gibson and Frankie, Anne walked 11+ miles each day!!!!!    Holy Moly!

Congratulations to Anne celebrating her 25th anniversary with State Farm (October 5th)!
