October 16

Beautiful day........Mark left early with Daisy for Kankakee and the Haige Quarry for his open-water dives.   He did 2 today and is spending the night at the Kankakee River State Park with 2 more dives coming up tomorrow.   He's near Camp Shawanasee where he camped many years ago as a 4-H member.

I picked up Kay and we were off to Green Gables with the Sublettians for delicious cheeseburgers and other goodies.   There were 10 of us + Baby Quentin.    After lunch we drove to Debbi's for yummy desserts and coffee.

Late this afternoon, Anne and boys picked me up and off we went to a wiener roast in the country with our boating friends.   Enjoyed the bonfire, brats, burgers and oh-so-many good dishes!
