October 29

Had our first hard freeze overnight and then a gorgeous sunny day with a high of 48.    We spent the day visiting our folks - first, Mark's parents - enjoyed catching up and good lunch at Arthur's Deli.   Off to see Dad at the nursing home.    As we were arriving, all the kiddies from a neighborhood school marched around in their Halloween costumes - fun and I'm sure the residents enjoyed them !

My brother Bob and Linda were there, too....we sat around with Dad visiting - he voted today!

Home for about 45 minutes and then off to serve dinner at Safe Harbor with my Exchange Club.    I dished up the biscuits (chedddar cheese from Red Lobster) and Mark did the cake.   Also had ham and green beans.    This is always a humbling experience.
