Saturday - December 11

So heartbreaking to wake up and see the horrific damage and loss of life from all the tornadoes that hit the Midwest last night and overnight.    Prayers for the victims, their families and all of the first responders.    December is not when we think of a tornado occurring - especially tragic before Christmas!   God bless them all..

Finally got my car back at 9:30 this morning!    As much as we enjoyed the sedan (past 4 days), I'm happy to have "Little Navy" back.    We ran several errands and holy moly....the light came back on the car and I got a notice on my phone about this shift system fault.    WHAT?????     Arghhhh, this was supposed to be fixed.    Mark called Heller again and they said they would come pick it up this afternoon.

We met friends, Don and Sheila for lunch at Biaggi's. Don and Mark worked together many years ago at State Farm and we've gotten together off and on, but it's been awhile, so really good to catch up on our families, health, travels, etc.    Awesome lunch and visit on this windy, cold day!    The sun did come out around 1.

Back to Eastland Suites and Heller Ford brought us back the red (loaner) car from last week and took mine away again.    Today it was really acting up - soon as we were at a stoplight, it would automatically go to Park!    Weird!!!

On home to finish up some last-minute wrapping and organizing my Christmas stuff (paper,  bags, tags, tissue, etc.) to store away for another year.    Also watched more coverage of the tornado devastation.

Read and watched Hallmark movies.   Big day tomorrow - Anne (and Michael's birthdays), church, hockey games and celebrate our Christmas with Anne and the boys.
