Blustery again today but the temps were warmer at 54. The sun came and went. I met Sharon at Panera North for our annual December get together for coffee/breakfast. The South Panera is closed for inside dining - shortage of workers!
Sharon and I had a 2.5 hour visit and so good to be together and catch up on our families, health and much more. We'll see she and Harry in FL this winter.
On home and did 2 loads of laundry at the hotel laundromat. Met a nice lady from Minnesota - we had met her husband at Kamp Komfort this fall. They are storing their 5th Wheel at KK and staying at Eastland Suites while her husband completes a new Jiffy Lube (he's project manager) and then they'll move on to Cary, NC for a new Pet Smart to be built.
My car is still not back - they called this afternoon and said they are still waiting on a filter, so??? Maybe Saturday? But we have a nice looking pretty red Lincoln MKZ (sedan) to drive in the meantime.
Mark and I picked up pizzas from Payaa - 1st time for us to try these (can order only online for pick-up). Donna Rae's granddaughter, Lauren is married to the owner, Adam. Delicious! We met Donna Rae in Westminster's lobby and onto Earl and Rhea's apartment for a very special evening with these dear friends. We enjoyed our drinks, snacks and then the pizza.....Rhea had everything decorated soo pretty and has quite a collection of Santas. Said our good byes and hope we can do this again next spring when we're back in town. We walked with Donna Rae back to her apartment and saw all her Christmas pretties, then hugs and a plan to have coffee together next week before we leave. Back to Eastland Suites with happy memories of this really fun evening.
