Today, the birthday boy flew to Iowa City with his brothers and nephews to spend the weekend with Drew - Saturday night is the big Iowa vs. Wisconsin game.

We left Normandy Farms this morning at 9 and good traveling to Biddeford, Maine where we met friends, Bob and Martha from Bloomington at Applebees for lunch.    They've been in Montreal, Quebec City and Maine as they are en route to Boston to visit their son and daughter-in-law.   Kohls had a nice big parking lot for Flo and Big Red, with Applebees across the street, so worked out great.    We had such a nice visit and caught up on our travels, families, etc.

We said our good byes and so happy we could get together....we had another 1.5 hr trip to Boothbay (big back-up in Wiscasset) and arrived at the Shore Hills Campground at 3:30.    We were here on September 2, 2012.    Nice place and a lot of big rigs.    We are just 2 miles from Boothbay and 4 miles from Boothbay Harbor (where all the action is).    We settled Flo in and decided to check out the town.....I had mentioned in the blog from 6 years ago what a neat town this was and it still is so charming.    Unfortunately, it was not fun to be out and about with the chilly temps and very windy.    We walked around a bit and decided to have drinks.    Went to the Fisherman's Wharf Inn and had a nice view of the water (indoors) - drinks, appetizer (maple-bacon wrapped scallops) and soup (clam/roasted corn chowder) - all delicious and Mark topped it off with warm Maine blueberry pie and ice cream!!!!

Back to Flo and hope the winds will die down and bring on some sunshine tomorrow as very overcast all day!

Today was the annual Track-a-Thon at Corpus Christi - Anne and Patrick helped out with this all-day event.
