Sunday - September 16

Hot 'n Sunny today and folks were out in great #'s.....we went to 10:00 Mass at Sacred Heart in Lake George and then to The Breakfast Spot downtown - old timey place playing neat old-timey music (what we like Claire) and good food and Bloody Mary's
Old time memorabilia at The Breakfast Spot

We walked around downtown and lots of people on the beach, eating outside, parasailing, and getting ready for a jazz concert in the park.

It's been so beautiful up here but hard to imagine what the folks in the Carolinas are dealing with day after day and still all the flooding yet to come.     Our North Carolina kiddos are getting rain but nothing significant.

Anne, Patrick, Liam, Connor and friend, Jack toured Wrigley Field this morning and then enjoyed the game, except for the outcome - Cubbies losing 2-1 to the Reds.

Did 4 loads of laundry, read, walked and enjoyed our last afternoon at Lake George RV Park

Several of the areas mentioned where the hurricane hit hardest, we've been to by boat....just overwhelming and heartbroken for all these residents

Tomorrow we are off to the Boston area,,,,
