Cloudy most of the day and much cooler - mid 70's. Felt so good to open Flo's windows and let in some fresh air after all the heat.
Enjoyed a leisurely morning and then around 11, we went to Price Chopper and wine store (both very close by) to get a few more things. Went for a bike ride in the park and then had a drink at the tiki bar by pool and across the street from us. Met some folks from IL and Syracuse here for a wedding tomorrow.
Besides Flo, there are 2 other Airstreams here in Swan Bay +++ this cute little "Bambi" as its called by the Airstream folks.

It will be hard to top the dinner we had tonight at The Clipper Inn on the outskirts of Clayton. Perhaps the best we've had all summer...
When we were in Clayton 2 weeks ago, we had heard about the Clipper Inn but since it was not close to our marina, decided on another place. Yesterday when we drove into Clayton we came past this and thought "tomorrow night"? And so that's what we did and from start to finish - EXCELLENT!!! The décor was so neat with lots of branches, twigs, etc. with tiny white lights all over. Jean and Ian were our servers and both top-notch.
The hostess asked if this was our first visit and then told us about Michael Simpson, the owner and chef who took over the business from his parents. He studied at Hyde Park (Culinary Institute of America) and spends the winters in Europe getting new ideas, etc.
Mark had king crab and steak; filet Oscar for me and then we both had dessert (chocolate soufflé for Mark and white chocolate raspberry bread pudding with white chocolate sauce for me).
Both were heavenly.
Nighty night from 2 happy, stuffed campers!
