Friday - August 2

Hello from Hopkins Creek on the Middle River near Essex, MD where we are anchored out on a pretty Friday evening.     Mark exercised (I will get back at that Monday) and we went to Mars for groceries (interesting all the local food stores when we are in different areas and away from the big chains).    Finished unpacking all our stuff and left Dundalk around 11:45.    Even though we are only 4 miles as the crow flies, it was a 20-mile boat ride

Two of Mark's sisters were putting up sweet corn (from field to freezer) and Marilyn was burned on her stomach, arm and leg.  She has 2nd degree burns.   I sure feel for her as I had a bad burn accident in 1984 from candle wax....painful recovery!

Mark worked on various boat jobs, (he's a happy camper to be back on his boat) I read and did computer stuff.    Just floating around tonight with a glass of wine, cheese and crackers up on the bridge.   There are 2 restaurants across from us with big crowds at both and a steel band playing!

Nice surprise when Annette called to do face time and we saw Luke standing up in his exersaucer and actually moving around - whoaaa....this grandma and grandpa were very proud - he's only 3 months!    Such a sweet, happy boy!!!

Enjoy your weekend!
