Monday - August 26

Beautiful deep blue skies and 86 degrees.    We started the day exercising.... breakfast and then starting tackling our job lists and packing.    Got a lot done - especially Mark (never seems to be an end to all the boat jobs - especially at end of season).    He also installed a new heating element for our hot water heater.    So....things are coming along - will soon be ready to start loading up the truck.....

I went for a short bike ride - brought back a chocolate shake for Mark from Highland Creamery - boy, they have good ice cream and just a tiny little place with a walk-up window by the water.

Late afternoon we drove to Easton (9 miles) and Mark did some shopping at
West Marine and Lowes.

We had our little "happy hour" on Catrina's bridge - last one for the season and enjoyed church bells tolling - "How Great Thou Art"!!!

Some of the restaurants are closed Mondays, some Tuesdays and Wednesdays here (only 5 in town).....went back to the Masthead and had awesome crab nachos.    And.....we got a slice of 7-layer chocolate cake to go....this was wonderful (saved some for tomorrow)

Decadent, Delicious, Delightful!!!

Last night on Catrina for 2013!

Safe travels back home and enjoy your time with the family especially Beautiful Baby Blair. Pat, I think this is our biggest challenge whenever we travel-can't help but get dessert. Our multi- berry pie was just as delicious and irresistible not to eat all. Your chocolate cake is definitely decadent and deliciously rich. Enjoy. Take care.
