Happy one-month, Miss Blair

Taking a little snooze

After exercising and pancakes, we left Granary Creek and cruised 38 miles to San Domingo Creek near St. Michaels.    We are just a short jaunt by dinghy to shore and all the shops and restaurants in this charming town.     We had a great lunch at The Blackthorn Irish Pub and then I hit the shops.   Mark went back to Catrina and did some boat jobs

When we were passing by St. Michaels, the views of the homes (waterside) are unbelievable....or as Mark would say "They are GYnormous"!    And we were wondering if some weren't an inn or resort, but apparently, all private homes!

Lovely homes to pass by walking into town, too, with neat porches, wicker furniture, pretty flowers and several with a red door!     AND....love that many were proudly flying Old Glory!

So, it was a good afternoon and looking forward to going back tomorrow.     Mark picked me up at 5 and we are really enjoying anchoring out another night or so....

The Chesapeake is jam packed with rivers and creeks which all feed into the big bay.   You could spend months and months here and not hit all these little hidden jewels!
