Wednesday - August 7

We are in Annapolis - 32 miles from Baltimore today on rough choppy waters!    It was very grey and overcast when we left around 9:30, and although rain was predicted, haven't seen any yet.    We are smack dab in the heart of downtown Annapolis in Ego Alley - love it here amongst all the shops, restaurants, people strolling past (most with an ice cream cone in hand) and steps away from the Naval Academy.

After lunch we gave Catrina a good scrubbing and the sun came out and just a very pretty afternoon.    I browsed some of the shops and Mark had a few errands - disappointed that the hardware store which is sooo close is now gone!

Had tacos for dinner (I know this is a major shock that I cooked)!     Been eating out so much and have plenty of food onboard, so.....lots of good eating in this charming town!    Have some favorites and some new spots, too.

Went for a walk - so nice out and people enjoying this breezy evening before the rain comes (radar looks nasty).

Just a few of many sailboats and their crew back in after a Wednesday night race!
