Thursday - August 1

Welcome to the hot, sultry, steamy days of August - and hopefully, not so wet as was July (at least here on the east coast).        We are back on Catrina in Dundalk, MD and just before arriving at the marina, had a torrential downpour!    Rain, rain, so much rain and the Midwest sure could use some!    Weather has been very strange this summer!

So.....I did the 2 and 6 AM feedings for Miss Blair - what a little honey and so enjoyed rocking and cuddling this little bundle before putting her back in her crib.   We took off around 7 and had a good day of travel with some rain, fog, sun and mostly cloudy conditions along the way.

Got our stuff unloaded this afternoon and will do a grocery run in the morning before we will take off for an anchorage near Baltimore for a few days and wind down!!!

Had a light supper and orange crush (that great Maryland drink) at The Hard Yacht Café here at the marina.    Nice to be back on the boat...but miss the grandchildren (IL, FL and NC)....so far away!   Gosh...Liam and Connor start school 2 weeks from today- seems really early!
