The heat is back (88) today with lots of sunshine after 2 days of clouds! We took the dinghy to shore at 8:00 and walked the St. Michaels Nature Trail - very nice paved road (3 miles) and saw a bald eagle and 2 little deer along the way.
Back to Catrina for a while - later Mark took me to shore for another shopping venture. I did my part to boost the economy here and bought a few Christmas gifts. Strange that some of the shops and restaurants are not open on Tuesdays/Wednesdays? Doesn't make sense when all these tourists are in town???
More and more "rich and famous" have second homes here in St. Michaels; among them,
Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney!
I also bought some muffins for breakfast tomorrow and cupcakes at "Sweetie". So many cute shops here.
We took the dinghy to shore and walked around downtown at 4:30 and had drinks and appetizers at The Town Dock!
