Sunday - August 18

Rainy Sunday on the water.....after breakfast we decided it was time to start organizing and getting our "stuff" together - what we're taking home, what stays on boat, making an inventory list, etc.    Worked on that for awhile and after checking radar, decided we would go onshore and do more hiking like yesterday.     Just had a few sprinkles, bur very pleasant walking thru the woods and farmland with some very healthy crops.

Along our walk, we came across this "holly" tree which is 290 years old!!!

Since we couldn't get to Mass today....this beautiful setting was sure close to God's country!!     We would love to be in this area in another 2 months - all in spectacular autumn splendor!   Don and Ann had told us this Eastern Shore is truly magnificent in the fall.

Back to the boat for lunch, naps, reading computer stuff, and just a lazy Sunday afternoon,    Most of the rain missed us, but did get another shower late afternoon.

Played Rummi-Kube with Mark beating me 2 out of 3 games.

Anne, Patrick, Liam, Connor and The Stanley Cup!

How awesome for them to get to see this as it's making its way around the country!

Tomorrow, we are moving on from Granary Creek and the Wye River heading to an anchorage near St. Michaels - look out shop owners......I'm a'comin!!!!

BLT's for supper...    Michael and Brooke's basement is all back in order after the flood!    Yeah!!!
