Rainy day in Essex......after a big breakfast, Mark put the dinghy in water and cleaned the scummy stuff off bottom of boat at water line. We had planned to go for a dinghy ride thru Hopkins Creek, but the off and on showers decided that was not to be. We did get to shore with the umbrella, started walking and the rain came again. Had lunch at The River Watch and a rainy ride back to Catrina. This is kind of day to stay in with a good book , take a nap, whatever
....and that's what we did!
Our Blair and family are at Lake James this weekend and the little Miss had her first boat ride at 2 weeks. She beat out her Uncle Ryan who went sailing at 5 weeks!
We had planned to take the dinghy to shore and walk 2.2 miles to 5:30 Mass, but the rain just kept coming, so.....hoping for tomorrow at 10:00 and then to Baltimore!
