Tuesday - August 6

Rainy morning in Baltimore.....caught up on e-mails, read, printed out a bunch of Blair pics for my little photo book and just hunkered down in Catrina.

Mark took the water taxi and toured Fort McHenry....the birthplace of the Star Spangled Banner.   he enjoyed the history lesson and tour very much.    The Fort played a critical role in the War of 1812.

When the rain let up a bit, I took the umbrella and walked 2 blocks to Whole Foods - fun browsing!

Rain stopped, but very dreary with some light fog and humid this afternoon.   We did a load of laundry at the marina - very nice here with great boater's lounge - comfy chairs, big-screen TV, and inexpensive washers and dryers ($1.25 per load - that's a good deal)

We walked to Little Italy (mainly looking for some good pizza and a glass of chianti).....there are 31 restaurants in Little Italy (according to the brochures) and we walked the streets checking out menus, etc.    Amazing that no one serves pizza at night (some at lunch time)?    We ate at Amicci's and had some great salad, pasta and chianti!!!   Turned out to be a real pleasant evening!

Luke is really into Daddy's laptop!!!

Tomorrow we are off to Annapolis - great 3 days in Baltimore!
