Friday - September 18

Cool start to the day but sunny - fall is definitely in the air.    We were off to town at 7:15 for appt. to check the eye.    Pressure is good and all looks as it should be.    Back again next Tuesday.

Went to storage and picked up sugar cookies from Grove Street for the boys (Drew, Liam and Connor).   They are sooo yummy!    Mark was in need of a biscuits 'n gravy fix so off to Hardees for that and he was happy (he really likes this once-in-a-while treat and it's been many months!)    I had an apple fritter from Grove Street.

Back to Flo and did more computer stuff including registering with The Center for Outpatient Medicine where I'll be having my rotator cuff surgery in December.    Wow....talk about a very thorough survey, but I'm good to go!

Drew came for lunch and visit this afternoon.    Mark picked up from Busy Corner and we sat outside.    He is staying with Anne and the boys tonight.     Had a good chat about his job at the University of Iowa hospital where he admits patients, takes visitors to patients rooms and a variety of other jobs.

Congratulations to our niece Katy and Mike on the birth of their baby daughter born this morning....Evelyn McKee.    Oliver, 4 will be welcoming his baby sister!

Mark went into town this afternoon as Twin City Upholstery called that my cushion is done!  It's great and we are both happy with our new firmer bench seats!

Mark's sister Joan and Joe arrived in their camper this afternoon for 2 nights.    They are newbies to camping and have a toy hauler (for their motorcycle in back).    We visited a short time after they got set up and looking forward to hanging out tomorrow.

Welcome to Kamp Komfort!

Burrr...we're to get down to 39 by morning!    Have a great weekend!
