Monday - September 14

Nice day but more clouds than sun till later in the afternoon and then nice 'n sunny.    We had breakfast and then left for town around 9:30 - few errands (took my bench cushion in to have firmer foam inserted).    The owner Kent does lots of upholstery work on antique cars (a really neat peach colored Thunderbird from Wisconsin was getting spiffy new seats).       Kent knew Patrick and asked how Anne was doing.

Happiness is having a full tank of gas and a good car wash!   Last stop was a Wal Mart grocery pick up.

Around 10:30 every day, I check online the # of new Covid cases for McLean County that day......finally so good to see these #'s going down.    Really scary there for several days and a lot of it was related to ISU and IWU students back in town and continuing to party, not wearing masks or social distancing!    Arghhhh!

Nice day to have Flo's windows all open -

When I went for my walk tonight, I came across this...   😢  We had large pots of pretty yellow mums on either side of the campground entrance.

Apparently someone turned too short with their rig and destroyed this pot.....Mark said they probably didn't even realize it!

Miss my walking buddy but he's lying kinda low and pampering his back as much as possible.   He has appointment for MRI on Thursday.

Two things to make your day better:

1.   Do not watch the news

2.   Stay off the bathroom scale

Amen to that and on that note, I'll say good night!
