Wednesday - September 23

A very productive day inside Flo for me and Mark doing outdoor projects.    Got our clothes organized and more stuff to donate to the mission.     Feels good!!!

Kamp Komfort is right along I-74 so lots and lots of traffic.   We've gotten so used to it, so don't mind the road noise and sleep thru it during the night.    There is construction going on, too, (LONG-time project) so lots of machinery working with the repaving, etc.    Today, all was quiet and thought that was unusual - nothing going east or west????    So, we took the car to the bridge where we can see both ways and absolutely nothing!    Went into Carlock and stopped at BP station - lady told Mark a tanker had overturned between Goodfield (where Busy Corner is) to Morton.   Yikes... So, that meant the construction workers all went home as trucks couldn't get thru.   All interstate traffic was rerouted on 150 from Carlock to Morton.

At 6:15, we saw the big wrecker go by pulling the tanker which was badly dented.    And now, traffic is once again flying by as usual!    The driver was from Louisville and unhurt.    I-74 was closed at least 6 hours.

Today was overcast and cooler but very pleasant.    Did Zoom with Claire and Kathy and as always, the time goes much too fast.    Then euchre with Jim and Lydia with we girls beating the brothers 2 of 2.
