Sunday - September 6

Our first day of post-quarantine started with a big ole fashioned thunderstorm and lots of rain (3" here at KK).    We had a leisurely morning on Flo (I slept in), breakfast, church with Cardinal Sean O'Malley in Boston at Holy Cross Cathedral (usually it's been in the chapel of the church).    Then we were off to town and the laundromat - 4 loads and a trip next door to Gloria Jean's for a coffee fix (1st in over 2 weeks) - savored every sip!!!

While I was doing laundry, Mark ran a few errands and then we went across the street to Arby's to get lunch to go.    Never saw Arby's anywhere out west this summer......love their chicken salad (white meat, celery, grapes and pecans) and Mark tried their new roasted chicken club wrap which was also delicious - we shared so got to enjoy both.     We'll be going back to Arby's!!!

Home to Flo, unloaded our stuff and then skies got darker and sure enough more rain but nothing like this morning.     It is very windy, too.    Our phones were dinging away this morning with weather alerts for heavy rain, thunder in our area, etc.

Read and took naps - the sun came out around 2:30, but the strong winds continued all afternoon.  We had gusts at 35 mph.    Tacos for supper and then zoon with the siblings (9) tonight.

Way to go Gibson!!!
