A spectacular Mother's Day - sunny, warm and breezy! Today was the long-awaited race (1/2 marathon) that Liam and Connor ran in Moline, IL. Anne was there to cheer them on and they finished in 2 hours 6 minutes - very impressive for their 1st time! PROUD of them and now talking about doing a full marathon next year! 😐
Congrats to the runners!
Mark and I met the Campbells at Busy Corner as they were on their way home from Moline. It was busy but only about a 20-minute wait and we sat outside under the pergola. So fun to catch up and enjoy our yummy lunch + pie for Anne and boys.
Grandma, Mom and the boys!!!
Grandpa and "tall" grandsons! Always comparing who's "tallest"!
Liam by a hair!
Our friends, Jim and Kay from AZ who came to CT a few weeks ago are here tonight at KK. What a surprise but unfortunately, it had not been planned - issues with their truck so will have that checked out tomorrow. We had a great visit with them in their 5th wheel and letting them use Ruby while we're off to Mendota tomorrow with Big Red. Forgot a picture....
Exactly SIX MONTHS ago today (Sunday, November 12th), I had my big OOPS accident at Lake James!
I had a really special Mother's Day!!!
