Thursday - May 16

Rainy dreary day....we were off to town with a stop at Jasper's Java (a fairly new place where the owners took a metal shipping container and converted into a coffee pick-up place with 2 drive-thru windows!)   Pretty neat!

Jasper's Java - named after a dog

Then to see Lisa at Star Nails (my go-to-place when in Bloomington).    Always enjoy visiting Lisa and today she was so excited to tell me she's going to be a Grandma in August!   I've been going to Lisa for years so kind of been watching her son and daughter grow up!

We drove past State Farm Corporate South where Rivian has parked many many cars/SUV's until ready for shipment.   Quite something to see.

Stopped to see Anne, Liam, Connor, Gibson and Frankie (birthday boy tomorrow) and then to meet Paul and Marlys at Biaggi's.   We were there over 2 hours enjoying our lunch and yakkin' away!    We are excited that Paul's granddaughter, Anna and our Brady will both be freshmen at Notre Dame this fall.    We look forward to seeing them at a grandson, Thomas and our Connor's graduation on Sunday.

Back to KK and settled in Flo on this icky day, took a short nap and Kay texted inviting us for cards/wine!    What fun for the next 3 hours - besides the guys beating us 2 games of euchre, (ugh) we had so many memories from growing up in Sublette (Kay and I) with many laughs!    FUN!!!  FUN!  We had planned to teach Kay and Jim SkyJo, but didn't get around to that....too many memories to share!
