Tuesday - May 7

So happy these 2 met at SIU-Carbondale and here they are 19 years later!    Mark and I are very thankful for them giving us Luke and Maeve!

Happy Anniversary !

Family dinner tonight
and then...
Luke was inducted into the Beta Honor Society
Congratulations Luke!

We left at 6:35 this morning with the weather forecast calling for severe storms.    Mark texted his brother Tom in Danville asking for updates from their radar   Tom was out of town but Beth became our "Radar Woman" and did a fine job.   Also got texts from Anne as Boomington was stormy and what was in the forecast.  Major construction in Indy.  We had a brief downpour at Crawfordsville, IN just before we stopped at Cracker Barrel.    Enjoyed a hearty breakfast and we kept on truckin'.    Mark got diesel and propane, I got gas for Ruby in Bloomington and I stopped to see Anne for a few minutes.   Happy to have that central time zone hour back!

Checked in with Micci at Kamp Komfort and had a nice visit - she said they had 2" of rain this morning and that 90% of the corn is NOT planted!   Yikes!!!

It is crazy windy but sunny....tornado watch till 8 for McLean County.    We left KK last October 14th (lots of PT since then) 😒.   It's always nice to be back "home".

We walked around the campground - Micci said KK had their best April ever and they are full this weekend (ISU graduation).    Saw Quebec, plus Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida (3), Montana (Airstream), South Dakota and Illinois plates.
