Saturday - August 7

Not much happening today.....Mark worked on a few projects and we drove to the east side of Port Clinton and lunch at Casa Las Palmas - very good Mexican fare and margarita/beer.

We drove to Marblehead and Mark showed me East Harbor State Park and the beach where he took Blair and Luke while I was getting a haircut a few weeks ago.   It was packed today!  Stopped at Bassetts for a few groceries and on home.    A little rain shower went thru around 3ish.

We played 2 games of 2-handed euchre - 1st time in eons and I won both!

Walked downtown tonight - pretty quiet after a big antique car and tractor show today

Sorry to hear about another case of covid in the family - this time our nephew's wife in Gilbert, AZ.    Mandy is in the hospital on oxygen and steroids.    She was not vaccinated.     The latest is that she is recovering but will spend one more night in the hospital

Here are the signs identifying each slip here at Superior Marine...pedestals have been installed and electrical and water ready to go.   Waiting for a transformer to be installed and final inspection.
