Saturday - September 18

Hot again - 90.    More summertime weather than mid September.    I drove to Anne's and met 2 of Mark's sisters (Karen and Marilyn) and we were off to Danville for our niece, Sarah's bridal shower.   Karen drove and we stopped along the way at Starbucks for coffees and arrived at 11:45.    Beth (wife of brother Tom) had the shower at her lovely home on the shaded patio.    Delicious lunch, fun games, dessert (nothing bundt cakes) and opened presents.    So nice to be together (1st time since all this covid stuff) and lots of chatter, reminiscing, wedding talk, etc.!

Mark finished waxing Flo!    She looks good!

I packed for our trip tomorrow (Branson, MO for Mark's 56th class reunion) with some stops along the way,   With the weather changes coming, it's a little tricky on what to take - casual and dressy clothes, for hot and cool weather as expecting 90 on Monday and 73 on Tuesday + 70% chance of rain on Tuesday.

We had grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes for supper - yummy!!!
