Thursday - September 30

Cannot believe it's the last day of September!    Crazy how time is flying by here in 2021 - I say that every year, but I'm thinking this year has passed us by especially fast!    Just my thoughts!  😊

We took off from KK at 9 with Joyce and Butch for Caleri's Bakery Cafe in Eureka to have our coffees and breakfast.    All good stuff in neat old building - the owners really did a good job with this place!

Then off to Scottwood (one of my favorite shops) and sooo pretty for fall and just starting the Christmas decorating.    Stopped at Braker's Market (recommended by cousin Jane) and what a fabulous place of so many goodies.   It's just a year old but so close to us and will definitely be back.    We all did some shopping and on back to KK to rest a bit before we take off again!

Wonderful Amish shopping at Braker's Market!    Look for the red truck on the roof!

At 2:00, we were off to town - had Bubble Tea at Energy Hut (1st time for Joyce, Butch and Mark) - they liked it!!!    Drove past our old house on Jackson street, dropped some things off at Anne's, and the boys were just getting home, so got to hug them and see the doggies, stopped at Schnucks for a few things, Mark mailed a pkg at UPS and on back to KK.

Cheers for Bubble Tea

Happy hour, another nice fire by Butch and so much reminiscing from our time in Okeechobee, friends we met, happy hours under the tiki, etc. etc.   We roasted hot dogs with yummy sides and enjoyed an awesome picnic!

The sky was brilliant with many stars and we ended the evening with s'mores and so many stories (Joyce and I were laughing about the home perms we used to get  - "Lilt" or "Toni" and on and on it went!)

Till tomorrow.....and bye bye to September and our fun friends!
