Sunday - June 2

 H A P P Y   B I R T H D A Y   R Y A N

It was a chilly, rainy June 2, 2024, but memories of 39 years ago today were happy and so thankful for the arrival of our baby boy, Ryan Patrick!

The Birthday Boy

How nice to be with Ryan on his birthday!  We are so proud of all he's accomplished thus far!!!

I rode with Michael, Brooke, Davis and Blair and the rest rode with Philip to St. Margaret Mary Church in Swannanoa where 2 children made their First Communion.    Then to Pure and Proper for brunch.    This was an old gas station back in the 1940's, was closed for 20 years and now a neat restaurant that was very busy!.    We all enjoyed our meals downstairs in a neat little alcove with the brick walls, candles flickering, etc.

Back home in the rain.   Michael dropped me at Philip's, the rest of the gang arrived and then back to euchre with Mark and I winning the rubber game from last night and then another

Erin and Ryan

Went to Ryan's for champagne and good bye to he and Erin.    Then to Michael and Brooke's for more good byes - got to see the kiddos and saw that Drew is about 2 hours from Cedar Rapids - driving all the way today.     We'll be back in October which seems so far away, but a fast as life is going these days, it will be here before we know it!

More euchre with Philip and Annette winning!    Lots of fun and fierce competition!

What a fun, busy weekend in NC.....loved every minute!

Tomorrow, we'll be headed back to Port Clinton
