Monday - May 2

The week ahead sounds chilly and wet!     Oh well, we have a lot of fun stuff planned so we are off and running....

We went into  town and met brother Bob and Linda at Cracker Barrel parking lot and we were off to Springfield.    All the way there, Linda and I talked books and our favorites, new ones coming out, etc.    We both like so many of the same authors.

We found Cooper's Hawk Winery and started browsing the gift shop and then our cousin Carol and friend Bob from St. Louis arrived.   We had not all been together since February 20, 2019 in Florida at cousin Dave's home celebrating our cousin reunion + Dave, Bob and my birthdays.     So, with the pandemic and all, we've not been together and it was time for a little mini reunion.    So fun to see Carol and meet Bob.    We had a nice round table, enjoyed a delicious lunch and yakked and yakked.    Bought some wine on our way out and said our good byes, but hoping we'll get together in Florida next winter with the rest of the cousins.

Said our good byes to Carol and Bob and the rest of us headed back to Bloomington.   Mark and I got to KK around 4ish - with the chilly dreary weather, naps were in order.
