Saturday - May 28

Cool and cloudy to start the day but warmed up to 70ish and clouds and sun till 2 and then all sunshine!    After breakfast we set to work transferring clothes, food and stuff from Flo to Catrina.   LOTS of trips back n forth but really convenient having our tiny homes side by side.

Our 2 tiny homes

Mark spent a lot of time trying to get internet set up!    Success...Catrina is good to go!

We took a break in the afternoon and walked downtown - a few more empty store fronts than we remembered from last summer?     Hate to see that.    It was such a pleasant day and felt good to stretch the ole legs.    The 41st annual walleye festival is in full swing (Thursday thru Monday) and bigger than ever (we read) after being cancelled past 2 years cause of the pandemic.    We will check this out tomorrow.

We are tired tonight but it's a "good" tired!

I'm probably one of a few people in the universe who has not watched "Top Gun" - I've seen little bits here and there, but not from start to finish.    Netflex is offering it thru May 31 and on the radio today, they were talking about the new HUGE box-office hit "Maverick - Top Gun" which opened in theaters yesterday.    They strongly suggest watching the original Top Gun first....so that's what I did!    Wow... this movie was made when Ryan (our fighter pilot) was only one year old!!!
