Sunday - May 15

Mark and I went to 8:00 Mass at St. Wenceslaus and then met Bob and Judy at the Edgewater Grill in the Hyatt for breakfast.    It's cloudy today and much cooler than past few days by 20+ degrees.

Proud day in Iowa City watching our oldest grandson, Drew graduate from the University of Iowa School of Engineering .

This is the moment!!!

It was cloudy most of the day but the sun came out a little bit when we were taking pics.        Anne and boys left after the ceremony - work and school tomorrow.

We spent a few hours back at the hotel, changed clothes and then left for the party with Bob and Judy.    We were blessed with great weather all weekend, but did have some light rain along the way to Mosely's BBQ.    One of the Moms had arranged for a private room for her son, Drew, his roommates, friends and their families.    It was a great time with awesome chicken and pork BBQ, baked beans, cole slaw and corn bread.   Then 3 choices of Nothing Bundt Cakes (Lemon raspberry, Chocolate and Red Velvet).

Opening presents - a graduation ornament from us!
Drew and friends...some are going onto graduate school; and rest are headed to Texas.
Austin (2), Dallas (2) and Houston.    Great bunch of young people!!!

What a wonderful weekend - so proud of Drew and wishing him the all the best with
his new career and life in the Dallas area.

7 years ago today we closed on our Jackson Street home - wow.....that's when we officially became nomads!

Lunch yesterday at Big Grove Brewery
